IF-rebar prices see marginal correction in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

• Induction route-rebar (10-25mm) prices corrected slightly by INR 200/t to INR 52,600/t exw-Raipur in Chhattisgarh. However, there was no selling pressure on re-rollers as they have adequate future bookings in hand. Also, a few plants are yet to receive earlier booked billets which limited any sharp fall in rebar prices despite dull buying interest.
• However, prices in few other locations rose by INR 300-1,000/t, d-o-d, due to the rally in steel prices in the northern region.
