India: About 5,000 t of sponge iron sold in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

• SteelMint's price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) rose by INR 200/t to INR 34,600/t exw Raipur. Prices recovered slightly on improved bids and price recovery in billets.
• About 3,550 t of deals for FeM 80% material were reported at around INR 34,400-34,900/t, with a majority of deals recorded at INR 34,400-34,600/t exw & DAP Raipur, while about 1,300 t of FeM 78% P-DRI deals were reported at INR 34,000-34,300/t DAP Raipur.
