India: About 8,000 t of rebars sold by Jalna-based IF mills
Jalna (Maharashtra)-based major induction furnace mills witnessed improved trades and transactions today. About 8,000 t rebar (10-25mm) deals were recorded by few mills at INR 57,000-57,500/t exw, excluding GST. Increasing semi-finished steel prices and improved sentiments in key markets pushed up buying enquiries. Jalna is one of the major rebar producing markets with a daily production capacity of about 15,000 t.
