India: Bids rise by INR 450/t at SAIL-RSP pig iron auction
Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) held an auction for 4,800 t of basic grade pig iron (in 48 units) on 5 Apr'22 from the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha. Buyers booked the entire 48 units at a weighted average price of INR 59,050/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices increased by INR 450/t in comparison with the previous auction on 26 March.
