India: Bids rise by over INR 2,300/t at SAIL-RSP pig iron auction
PSU steelmaker SAIL held an auction for 4,800 t of basic grade pig iron (in 48 units) on 16 Dec'21 from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha. Buyers booked the entire 48 units at a weighted average price of INR 38,470/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices increased by INR 2,320/t in comparison with the previous auction on 9 Dec.
