India: Melting scrap prices drop on dull semis sales
Melting scrap prices edged lower across markets on 1 June 2022. Limited semi-finished steel transactions in the spot market put pressure on raw material viz. melting scrap as well as sponge iron prices. However, the availability of scrap is tight across the region.
