India: South African RB2 coal traded at INR 8,000/t ex-Vizag
In a confirmed deal, 10,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 8,000/t at Vizag port, while 2,500 t of RB2 coal was sold at INR 7,850/t at Gangavaram, as per CoalMint reports. Inquiries from sponge iron manufacturers remained limited, especially from Chhattisgarh market due to the ongoing power cut in the Raigarh region, market participants informed.
