India: Total quantity booked at Vedanta's ferro chrome auction
Vedanta concluded an auction for 1,900 t of ferro chrome on 5 Oct'21. The auction received H1 price of INR 134,900/t for 10-150 mm material, for 1,000 t lots, while the smaller lots (25-150 t) received H1 price of INR 135,600/t. At present, most producers are quoting INR 140,000/t. Manufacturers are trying to conclude bookings, anticipating a further price hike after China returns from the holidays.
