Indian rebar market sees limited buying activities
Induction furnace-route rebar prices increased by INR 500-1,000/t in few markets of India, SteelMint assessment shows. Increased prices of sponge iron and billets gave strength to rebar prices. However, trade remained moderate as SteelMint recorded over 1,000 t deals each in central, eastern and western parts. Considering limited demand, rebar suppliers are offering tradable discounts as per quantities and payment terms.
