Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices head south on bearish sentiments
Iran's domestic billet and rebar prices saw a significant fall due to the recession in the market. However, with falling base prices at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) and improved buying interest, prices may see an upward correction, sources informed SteelMint.
- Steel billet prices fell by 3,500 Rial/Kg to 150,000 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 4 Jul'22.
- Rebar prices stood at 178,000 Rial/Kg on 6 July, a decrease of 4,000 Rial/Kg.
