Russia: Metalloinvest records higher iron ore production in H1 CY'21
- Metalloinvest's iron ore production in H1 CY'21 was at 20.4 mn t, up 1.2% y-o-y. Growth was due to optimisation of maintenance works and improved quality characteristics of mined ore.
- Pellet output in H1 was at 14.1 mn t, largely unchanged on a y-o-y basis. The miner's iron ore beneficiation facility, Lebedinsky GOK, has switched over to the production of fluxed pellets.
